A Dennis Family Visit

We were lucky enough to have more visitors only a week after my family left. Chris' Mom, Dad, sister, Megan, and brother, Cody came to visit. We were able to spend a few days with them. The first part Kylie ended up being sick and throwing up, which wasn't fun. Of course the time she gets sick is the time we have visitors. But she luckily got better so quickly and we were all able to do things again.

We saw the water show at the Bellagio show (at nighttime this time), and my pregnant self and the kids went home while the others went to New York, New York and rode the roller coaster. Then they went to the Stratosphere and did the three scary rides there. I don't like heights, so I was glad that I was pregnant at this time. Just thinking about it makes my stomach churn. They did the one that shoots you straight up and down...scary! And they did the one that hangs you over absolutely nothing while going in swing-type things. And they did a roller coaster that is on the edge on the top. Glad I wasn't there, but glad they all had fun!

We went to the Shark Aquarium which is pretty neat. There are all different types of fish, sea creatures, and sharks there. And you get your schooling in while learning the facts about them, too. :) We even got to touch a stingray. Peyton didn't mind, but Kylie didn't want to get near to touching it!

We also got to go swimming while they were here. The pool we got to go to had a sandy beach-type entrance. It helped us feel like we were at the ocean...well, not exactly the same, but still a nice pool. It was fun.

Here's a clip of Peyton running and jumping in. He loved doing this! It's cute!

We had a great time hanging out, playing, and having fun together. Thanks for coming to visit!

Chocolate Factory and Cactus Garden

Last weekend we went to the Ethel M. Chocolate Factory just in Henderson. We saw how they make chocolate and all that good stuff, and we got to try a sample. That was Kylie's favorite part she said. Connected to the factory is another M&M World. We walked through that, and the kids wanted everything, again. Nothing purchased...we are not on a trip, here. :) Then when you walk out, there is a huge cactus garden. Yep, a CACTUS garden! It's actually quite pretty and interesting. The kids liked running around there, but we kept telling them to slow down, so they wouldn't fall and end up in a cactus!

The best part was Kylie kept bending over and accidentally showing Chris and I plumber's crack. She calls it, "Farmer's Crack!" I think we need to get her some longer and larger pants to cover that up...it just got colder for a bit and we had to put on her pants from last year. Guess she's grown! So Funny! Chris and I couldn't stop laughing!!!

Chris tells me I should put this in a photo contest. He said that would be funny.

A Nelson family Visit

My brother, Matt, and his family...Kristi, Emma, Riley, and Logan came to visit with my Mom and Dad. They spent a couple days here and then traveled to Disneyland for a trip. We got to see them for a few days on their way home as well. We LOVE having visitors and enjoyed our time with them so much.

Along with my other brother, Sam, and his wife, Madelyn, who live here in Vegas, too, we showed them the water show at the Bellagio and the amazing gardens, the M&M store, the Lions at the MGM, ate, hung out, chatted, laughed, and just had a fun time being around each other. Kylie and Peyton loved having cousins around to play with.

Waiting for the water show at the Bellagio to start...

I love the smiles on all their faces...

Hanging out at our house...

Peyton and Kylie helping Grandpa fix one of our chairs. Thanks for all the projects you completed, Dad! They love helping Grandpa. I love Peyton's face here...

Grandma, Grandpa, Peyton, and Kylie ...

Last, but not least, Peyton being "Oohperman!" He loves Superman and is going to be "oohperman" as he calls him for Halloween. He loves his pajama costume.

Thanks for a fun time. We already miss you guys!

Sort of still ticked off!

So, for those of you who care, probably nobody...my computer is still acting funky. But luckily, I quickly changed the background to this before it let me out of everything again. So, here you go.

Ticked!

So, I'm ticked off. I accidentally erased my blog template and can't get it back. My computer is doing funky things, so this will have to do till I am not frustrated and can sit down and look at it again.

Our Hike

We went up to the "mountains" and went on a little hike with my brother, Sam, and his wife, Madelyn. There is a boardwalk for the kids to run around and then you can go off and do different trails for hikes. Once we got to the top, the kids thought it was great. I did, too, but I get so stinkin' scared if I get too close to the edge. Just thinking about it right now makes my stomach churn. But, it was a great view and we had a great time. We are LOVING the weather right now. Finally not HOT HOT HOT, and now it is NICE NICE NICE. Finally! We can actually go outside and enjoy ourselves!

My absolute favorite!!!

Peyton's turn!
