Hike Day!

Some of the ward neighbors got together and traveled up the canyon to a fun children's hike (it's great, it's only 10 minutes away!). I've never been there, but heard it's fun for the kids and strollers can go, too. So, I loaded Peyton in the stroller and Kylie walked with me. There's wooden paths that they can run along, which they thought was great. Then our group went up the mountain, and I mean UP! So, we left our stroller and headed UP! That was a challenge with 2 little ones and me! Holding hands, avoiding falling, rocks, dirt, etc. The kids seemed to have a fun time, most of the time. Peyton was Mr. Fearless! He wanted to do all the things the big kids were doing. Kylie did too, to an extreme. But we made it to the top and it was beautiful!!! A really pretty sight! It truly was amazing and peaceful!!! Going down was tough, too, but we made it, and had a picnic afterwards. We had a fun afternoon and glad we went. We'll have to go again, but next time with Daddy!!!
(the last picture the kids are excited to see a dog that a neighbor brought on the hike!)

OK..sO thanks for the comment, I hadn't quite figured out how to use these so never got on and saw yours. You have the most beautiful little family!! I loved looking at all your pictures. You are probably the best mom. How do you guys like Las Vegas? Seems like you are loving it. Anyway, this is such a fun way of keeping in touch. Glad to see you are doing so good!!

That looks like so much fun. I am really jealous of your nice weather. We got a little bit of snow this morning. Nothing much but it was still there. I can't wait for the nice weather to come my way. :)
