Another run

Before the race...

I'm in the front (well, the back of this picture, but front of the line) by all the pink and white balloons. Can't you see me?! :) At the finish.

This run was huge!!! There were so many people there. It was the Susan G. Koman, Race for the Cure. Just for the timed 5K, there were 8500 people. I finished 17th of the whole women. It seems when there is a ton of people, you seem to get a better time because all the adrenaline. I did good, but my stomach was hurting the whole time, so I knew I could have even done better. I know, I'm competitive. The last minute some women caught up to me and passed me, and that bums me out because I usually kick it in that last bit. But, I had a great time, and now, of course, want to beat my time again.

WOW Anna! I am impressed. I did the same run in L.A. a number of years ago and I was NO WHERE close to being the 17th runner. I was just thrilled I never stopped and walked... Way to go, that really is cool that you did so well.

Way to go Banana!!! I am so proud of you for being 17th!! That's great. Sucks to hear about your stomach hurting. I got a side ache during a race and it sucked because I had trained so hard and then I couldn't run as fast as I wanted. Keep it up!!!

You are so awesome, Anna! You are just a bit competitive.... but then again, so am I!! ha ha You should try to come to Spokane and do Blooms Day next year. It is a HUGE race. It competes with Bay to Breakers in San Fran. I think it is a 10K though... Just a thought!! People come from all over the world to compete and it was pretty cool. :)

I had no idea that you are an actual runner!!! See there are runners, and there are sloggers... you are definitely a runner!!! Good for you!
