Kylie had her first day of preschool yesterday. She is taking it at a lady's house about 15 minutes away. She has been a teacher through the school district and has taught preschool for some years now. Kylie was so excited for preschool. When we got there, she gave me a kiss at the door and said bye, and then ran up the stairs at her preschool. I said bye again, but no response...she finally said bye again. :) I got a little teary-eyed afterwards. When we got in the car Peyton just kept saying, "Me too." But he said it shyly and kindof sadly. "Me, too, me, too, Mom." But we had a fun few hours just the two of us, and went to the park and later to McDonalds. He loved that. He got a prize in his happy meal, and Kylie couldn't understand why she didn't get one, too.
Kylie told me she learned about the letter M and how it makes a Mmmm sound. Also, she learned more about the color red. She played the dice game (whatever that is), used kid scissors to cut her playdough, ate big cheezit's, and all this other stuff she did. She's excited for show and tell every Thursday. She also said she got to go in the pink bathroom. :) It's funny to hear what they remember.
I also realized my days as a mom are at a different level now. I am now a chauffer. I will be driving kids around and around to different activities and school for years to come. The mini van will probably be coming soon...especially with a third child on the way. :)
It is so exciting to see her learn and understand different things. It'll be fun for us all!

WOW you have a pre-schooler. I can't believe it. I still can't believe that you are going to have 3 kids before I know it. When did I get so old? Thanks for the anniversary wishes. :) We are celebrating this weekend because Ben has a pretty tough schedule at school this week and I am sure that some kind of Mexican food will be on the menu ;)
Kylie looks so cute and grown up!! My little boys start next week...and although it will be a nice break at times, it will make me sad, too. They all grow up so fast.... Time sure flies by. :o)
So fun! She looks so cute in her new ensemble, and she looks so excited! Yes, what a new phase for Mommy! It'll be nice to have one-on-one time with Peyton before #3 comes.

HEY!! Thanks I am feeling so much bigger now... I am 26 weeks, today I went looking for maternity pants... awwww it was not fun I just thought I look huge in those store mirrors... YOu should put up some pics of your belly... I bet you look great.. Oh I love your new hair cut... I have been meaning to write to you but just kept forgetting... and the camping and the little smores, so so cute.. reminded me of being little... I hope I am a fun mom like you with our little one... oh hey when are you due again??? Your kids are so cute... wow Kylie is in preschool.... she looks so sweet in her photo... she look like she will be tall... well thanks again... have a good week!!! :)
Crazy how they grow up so fast! Sounds like a fun preschool though. So we were at the fair last night and my brother thought he saw you. He kept saying, "Kristi there is Anna" but I didnt believe him cause I know you live in Vegas. He actually went up and started talking to her cause he thought is was you. She did look similar though and the guy looked like Chris. He was also wearing a Vegas shirt so Brett thought it was for sure you! Anyway... pretty funny!
