Valentine's Day

So I have been reading my friends blogs about Valentines Day and everybody is like, "Oh we had the best Valentine's ever! We did this and this and this. It was so romantic and fun." Well, we are on the opposite end this year. Sorry, but it was the worst Valentine's ever. Everybody (except me) was completely sick. Chris had strep throat (which the doctor said it was the worst case they have seen in a long time) and was so dizzy, weak, etc. He couldn't even get up from the couch, it was that bad. Peyton had strep throat, bronchitis, and an ear infection. Poor guy! He's had the worst of it all. Kylie is at the beginning stage of all the sickness, so hopefully it'll stop for her soon. So, our Valentine's wasn't so great. But guess what! Sweet Chris, the next day he somehow miraculously brought me a dozen red roses, while still being sick. That was so nice and sweet. I love you so much!!!

But, we are all getting our rest and getting better, gradually. We have seen our share (plus a zillion) of shows, 95% kid shows, and are looking to go do some fun stuff soon. So hopefully we'll have a great St. Patrick's Day and Easter. :)

Being sick is the worst!!! Kaden has RSV and both Bryant and I have been getting over colds. So I totally understand! It's ok to have a crappy Valentines Day because you have 364 other days in the year to show each other your love! Love ya Banana...

Wow, you won the cake on that one. Just to make you feel better...Doug had class on Valentines so I babysat my co-workers kids. Not so fun, but we'll have plenty of time to make up for it. :) Feel Better!

Yuck! Bummer! We've had our share of sickness this winter, too! Peyton just got over RSV, and I've had a bad cold! Not as bad as you guys, though! Hopefully you all get back to 100% again soon!

Chris is such a good guy. I am sorry to hear that you are all sick. I got sick on Friday night and still don't have my voice back and it is TUESDAY. Hope that you guys feel better soon.

I am sorry your family has been sick. It is never any fun watching it either. Knock on wood but Kade doesn't really get sick anymore and when he does it isn't that bad. I think he got sick enough his first year to last him a while. He had croup which landed us in the hospital a night, rsv which landed us in the hospital for a week, roto virus and the list goes on. He also was born with club feet so we had a surjery and all the other fun stuff that goes along with that. Being a mom is tough sometimes but is totally worth it. You are a cute mom and family.
